Best BBQ pork bun and pineapple buns in the city! They are so soft and perfect crunchy crust on the top. I come back over and over and always get the same things, but they have a lot of variety available.

We had the mango mochi, the skin was really good and soft. Was told it was homemade with mango juice infused. Friendly ladies at the counter and they gave us an extra one after having a few chats with them! Would recommend trying their breads too!

Nice bakery in Chinatown that's conveniently close to a parking garage and has been around for many years. It's one of my go-to spots whenever I'm craving classic Cantonese pastries. I usually stop by for their BBQ pork buns and lo bak go (turnip cake), which never disappoint. The shop itself is clean, bright, and well-organized, and the staff are friendly and efficient. They offer a great mix of traditional Cantonese favorites and some unique treats: Signature buns: Crispy-topped baked cha siu buns and classic pineapple buns Specialty mochi: Huge, soft, and filled with flavors like mango, durian, black sesame, and purple yam Traditional staples: Joong (Chinese tamales), buttery egg tarts, and steamed cakes like taro, radish, and chestnut Drinks: Hong Kong-style milk tea and Vietnamese coffee Seasonal items: Creative mooncakes and Lunar New Year treats Overall, a reliable neighborhood bakery for both everyday cravings and festive goodies.

I know I am always giving five stars. It’s because I am thrilled when I visit places I have been reading about for ages. And when I finally get to have a coconut crème bao again after months, and it just makes me so happy. This place is funny. They are known for Chinese-style tamales. I did not have that. I had the egg tart and bao. Yummy. There was not a place to sit in the place on Sunday morning so I did the next best thing- stood outside the cafe and ate it. ☺️ again perhaps if I lived close to a Chinese bakery I would not be so joyful about my bao but I was and continue to be delighted. It was the perfect bite of chewiness and sweet without being cloying. I don’t know how they do it and I don’t want to know I will just say “take my money” and enjoy. The pastries here are top notch. Check it out for yourself.

It is a quintessential Chinese bakery situated in the heart of Chinatown. They offer table seating for a dine-in experience. We recently sampled their BBQ P.Bun, paper cake, big dumplings (zhong zi), and custard tart, and found them to be quite delicious! The experience met with Mama's approval. The customer service was excellent, and speaking Cantonese proved to be an added advantage. Additionally, they maintain a clean restroom facility exclusively for customers.
